Job Description

We’re looking for a visionary Digital Art Director to help lead the transformation of a dynamic, fast-evolving retail brand in Columbus, OH! This is a rare opportunity for a creative leader who thrives at the intersection of concept, craft, and technology — someone who can define a brand’s visual identity across all digital touchpoints while mentoring a team of talented creatives. As the Digital Art Director, you’ll own the concepting and production of every image and visual story that lives across our website, mobile web, app, and email communications. You’ll ensure that every visual reflects the brand’s evolving aesthetic — elevated, modern, and deeply connected to our customer. This role is ideal for a creative with a fashion or luxury background, a deep understanding of brand storytelling, and the ability to connect the dots from homepage (HP) to product listing (PLP) to product detail (PDP). You’ll guide a talented team of art directors, graphic designers, and photographers, and collaborate cross-functionally to bring brand campaigns to life through digital-first design. 
 
Responsibilities:

• Lead creative direction across all digital channels — Web (HP, PLP, PDP), App, and Email.
• Develop and execute elevated visual concepts that align with brand strategy and seasonal storytelling.
• Direct and oversee photo and video shoots, ensuring visual excellence from concept through final delivery.
• Mentor and inspire a team of art directors and designers to push creative boundaries while maintaining consistency and clarity.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and tech to align visual storytelling with business goals.
• Champion innovation, leveraging new technologies — including AI, Figma, and motion design — to enhance creative workflows and visual output.
• Ensure consistency across all digital platforms, creating a cohesive, elevated brand experience from first click to final conversion.

Required Qualifications:

• A highly creative, detail-oriented visual storyteller with 7+ years of experience in art direction, ideally in fashion, beauty, or luxury e-commerce.
• A hands-on leader with a strong portfolio that demonstrates conceptual strength, brand storytelling, and refined taste.
• Experienced in digital-first production, managing teams, and overseeing large-scale content creation.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, motion graphics, and emerging AI tools that enhance creativity.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategy with creative innovation.
• Passionate about craft, collaboration, and elevation — every pixel and image matters to you.
