** Job Summary/Description

**

The primary purpose of the Remote Temporary worker is to assist the Ethics and Conflicts of Interest team with various program tasks. To that end, the Remote Temporary Worker will: (a) work on Export Controls tasks, including managing the inbox and performing export checks on all Material Transfer Agreements, Research Agreements, and Grants, as well as other tasks as necessary; and (b) assist in other areas of the program on a need-to basis (i.e. Institutional Conflicts of Interest, Conflicts of Interest, etc.).

·Provides for skilled data entry and verifier operations for the accurate transfer of coded information to computer readable format.

·Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to)

·Enter information into databases from historical system (or exported from historical system) into new system

·Review all data for errors and report and unusually findings to management

·Collect and determine completed of all information before entering data into software programs

·Scan and print required documents needed to collect information for data entry

·Work following privacy guidelines as dictated by state and federal law

·Generate weekly and monthly reports regarding data entry progress and/or risks

·Ensure proper updates of required software and train new employees as needed on company processes

·File and organize paperwork used to enter data into programs to keep a record of original documents

** EDUCATION

**

Required: High school diploma or equivalent degree is required

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree

** EXPERIENCE

**

• 1-3 years experience working in data entry software and maintaining detailed information regarding available stock and supplies or other data
• Exceptional knowledge of office computer systems and software
• Strong written and communication skills with clients and customers
• Ability to effectively work within required software and update files accurately
• Organize and add detailed information to the personal calendar of management and other members of staff
• Continuing education regarding best practices in database organization
• Experience maintaining a professional level of privacy in accordance with HIPAA or other relevant regulations
