Join a dedicated Emergency Medicine team at a progressive Level III Trauma Center serving the Kennewick and greater Tri-Cities community. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high-quality, patient-centered acute care in a fast-paced emergency environment.
Position Highlights:
Full-time: 120 hours per month
Shift Structure: 11-hour shifts
Setting: 21-bed Emergency Department, 6 fast-track beds, 14 ICU beds
Trauma Level: Level III, Annual ED Volume: 24,440 visits
Admission Rate: 10.8%; Transfers: 1.5%
Imaging: CT available in-house; ultrasound available; MRI on call at night
Support Services: Anesthesiology, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Cardiac Cath, OB/GYN, Obstetrics, Podiatry
Bedside Ultrasound: Performed by all EM physicians—opportunity for APP growth and skill development
Compensation & Benefits:
$115.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, efficient care across a full spectrum of emergency presentations.
Respond to all floor codes, including neonatal resuscitation.
Perform comprehensive assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
Collaborate closely with Emergency Medicine physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
Participate in procedures as appropriate and within scope.
Ensure timely and accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
Support throughput and patient flow in the ED and fast-track settings.
Requirements:
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Active Washington state license (or ability to obtain).
Certifications; BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS
Prior Emergency Medicine or acute care experience strongly preferred.
Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment.
