General Labor – Bottle Recycling Manufacturing

📍 Location: Wyoming, MI

💵 Pay: $17/hr

🕒 Schedule: Full-time | 1st Shift

Job Summary:

The General Laborer plays a vital role in the recycling and manufacturing process by supporting daily production operations. This position involves sorting, cleaning, and processing recyclable materials, operating basic machinery, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort and inspect bottles and plastic materials for quality and contamination.
• Feed, load, and unload materials into processing or production machines.
• Operate basic recycling or manufacturing equipment safely after training.
• Assist with packaging, labeling, and stacking finished products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety guidelines, including PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Support team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, recycling, or warehouse work a plus.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work in a warm or cool industrial environment.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
