Job Description

Ditta Meat Food Service Company is looking for responsible and committed delivery route drivers of trucks/vans carrying less then 26,000 GCVW. Local route driver, CDL not required. Drivers are responsible for transporting various types of refrigerated food service products.

Requirements

• Being able to read customer orders and follow safety regulations

Responsibilities

• Delivering freight according to schedule
• Local route driver, CDL not required
• Managing proof of delivery to customer
• Assisting coworkers in loading and unloading trucks
• Responsible for maintaining a clean truck
• Checking mechanical aspects of truck using a checklist
• Responsible for reporting mechanical issues with the truck
• Communication effectively with customer during delivery
