Position: Medical Records Clerk
Location: Boca Raton, Florida
Shift: Full-Time | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Salary: $22.00 per hour
About The Role
Yamato Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Medical Records Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure all resident medical records and health information systems are accurate, confidential, and compliant with state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update resident medical records in compliance with federal, state, and facility standards
Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and security of all health information
Organize, plan, and manage the medical records department efficiently
Prepare, file, and retrieve resident information as requested by clinical staff and administration
Verify the completeness of medical documentation and ensure timely updates
Assist with audits, surveys, and compliance reviews as needed
Support other administrative functions within the department as assigned
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing home or healthcare setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
