Medical Technician (Phlebotomist) – Fresno VA Medical Center
Start: 12/01/2025 | End: 07/28/2026
Pay: $23.16 – $28.35 per hour
Openings: 4 | Location: Fresno, CA

About the Role
Provide phlebotomy services for the VA Central California Health Care System. Work within the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service at the Fresno VA Medical Center.

Schedule

• 8-hour rotating shifts
• Morning, evening, and overnight
• Includes weekends and federal holidays

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection
• Process and transport blood, urine, and body fluids
• Support testing in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, and toxicology
• Maintain accurate records and follow safety standards
• Provide direct and indirect patient care

Qualifications

• Current California Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)
• Current AHA BLS (ACLS if you have it.)
• At least 6 months hospital or clinic venipuncture experience
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
