Supply Chain Manager | St. Johns, MI

Salary Range: $93,000 - $140,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize cost, efficiency, and quality in manufacturing operations.
• Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management for raw materials and components.
• Oversee inventory management across raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to minimize holding costs while ensuring production continuity.
• Lead demand forecasting and supply planning activities to align production schedules with customer orders and market trends.
• Optimize logistics and warehousing operations, including inbound freight, internal material flow, and outbound distribution.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and implement best practices.
• Mitigate supply chain risks such as supplier disruptions, material shortages, and geopolitical impacts to ensure business continuity.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience (5+ years) in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain planning software.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory control, and logistics operations.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to optimize supply chain processes and drive cost efficiencies.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Proficiency in advanced data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Experience with advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP APO, Kinaxis, O9 Solutions)
