The Water Resources Technician both operates and maintains equipment and systems in a continuous improvement-based and safe work environment. Position is responsible for the ongoing management and maintenance of the water and wastewater processes to meet both plant and environmental standards. This position reports to the Water Resources Supervisor.
The Water Resources Technician is accountable for, including but not limited to, the following job responsibilities:

• Ability to work variable schedule when necessary
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ohio EPA Class 1 wastewater operator's license or ability to acquire one within 2 years of employment
• Ability and desire to accomplish assigned duties in an unsupervised environment
• "Team-player" and "get-it-done" attitude

• Must be able to use hands, arms, and fingers to handle, feel, and reach

• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

The Water Resources Technician position is located in a manufacturing environment, which includes:
• Exposure to high temperatures
• Fumes or airborne particles
